This reversible Merino lambswool snood has been knitted using a plating technique so the knit side of the fabric is dark blue and the purl side is a paler blue. It can be worn either way or folded back revealing both colours, as shown in the photographs.

The plating technique means it's twice as thick as my fair isle snoods making it perfect for those really cold wintery days. It can be worn as a cowl, but is also long enough to wear as a hood, just in case you get caught in a blizzard.

It measures approximately 29 cms across and 50 cms deep when laid flat.

It's knitted from pure merino lambswool 2 ply yarn which is spun in Yorkshire.
